Inserts: paperboard tray vs EVA cavity vs moulded pulp
The insert is what holds the bottle. For a standard 30 to 100 ml bottle we use a die-cut paperboard tray with a cavity cut to the bottle diameter, with a slot for the spray cap so it does not catch on the lid. For heavier glass or a wider bottle we add an EVA foam layer under the paperboard for shock absorption. For a luxury line a moulded pulp insert reads eco and presents the bottle cleanly. Whichever insert you pick, we size the cavity to the exact bottle diameter and height you give us.
Materials and branding
We wrap the greyboard in 157 gsm coated art paper for a clean print finish, a soft-touch matte laminate for a velvet feel, or a specialty stock such as textured color paper or faux leather for a premium line. Branding is usually a foil-stamped brand mark on the lid in gold, silver or black foil, with an embossed wordmark as a second cue. Inside the lid we can hot-stamp a fragrance family line or a brand story. We can source FSC-certified paper from FSC-certified mills for perfume programs, with chain-of-custody documentation available on request.
