Before you commit to a full production run, you should always hold the actual box in your hands. A sample lets you check the board thickness, the print colour, the fit of your product and the way the box opens — things no on-screen proof can show you.
At Ecopaperbox most samples are free. Here is exactly what that covers.

For anything outside the list above — rigid gift boxes, custom inserts, specialty finishes or unusual structures — please email us your requirements and we will quote the sample cost before proceeding. There are no surprise charges.
What About Shipping?
The sample itself is free; express courier delivery is normally paid by the customer. You are welcome to use your own DHL, FedEx or UPS collect account, which is usually the fastest and cheapest option. If you prefer, we can arrange the shipment and simply invoice the freight cost.
How Long Does a Sample Take?
- Blank sample: typically 2–3 working days to produce
- Printed sample: typically 4–7 working days, depending on the finish
- Express delivery: usually 3–5 working days worldwide
How to Request a Sample
- Send us your box dimensions (length × width × height, measured on the inside) or a photo of your product.
- Tell us the material and finish you have in mind — or just describe the look you want and we will recommend one.
- Share your artwork if you have it. If you do not, our design team will prepare a free dieline for you.
- Confirm the delivery address and your preferred courier.
