Materials & Structure

The box is a rigid greyboard shell wrapped in 157 g art paper with a pastel matte or soft-touch finish; the lid lifts away as a separate rigid tray. This is a rigid structure, not a folding carton or corrugated mailer, which is what gives the box its keepsake weight and crisp rectangular edges. Printing is offset or screen with optional gold or rose-gold foil on the lid. A die-cut insert or moulded pulp cradle can separate items inside the base.
