What Is a Sleeve Box?
A sleeve box, sometimes called a drawer or sliding box, pairs an outer sleeve with an inner tray that slides out. The overlap creates a satisfying, premium unboxing moment and protects the product from casual opening.
How It Is Built
The sleeve is a folded channel; the tray is a separate open carton that fits snugly inside. The two pieces are produced and shipped flat, then assembled by hand. A thumb notch is often added for easy pull-out.

What is a packaging sleeve used for?
A sleeve is an open-ended printed band that slides over a tray, rigid box or plain carton. It carries all the branding and legal copy, so you can keep one neutral base box in stock and change only the sleeve for different SKUs, seasons or promotions.
How tight should the sleeve fit?
We normally add 1-2mm of clearance on each dimension so the sleeve slides on smoothly without buckling. Tell us the exact outer size of the box it will wrap and we handle the tolerance calculation.
Is a sleeve cheaper than printing the whole box?
Usually yes. A sleeve uses far less board than a full carton, so brands with many variants often save 30-50% on packaging by combining plain inner boxes with printed sleeves.
What finishes work well on sleeves?
Soft-touch lamination with spot UV, hot foil stamping and embossing all perform well because the sleeve is the surface customers touch first. Uncoated and textured stocks are also popular for premium and natural positioning.
What is the minimum order quantity?

Packing Method For Corrugated Packaging:
Generally no need to put the PE bags inside of the cartons. Since the boxes are glued a layer of cardboard, generally production time is not long enough to dry the paper box. If you tie the PE bags, the steamed water pearl will be produced inside of the bags.
